Turkey is home to some fabulous golf resorts, each with its own expertly-designed course, fantastic dining options and stunning accommodation. If you’re an avid golfer looking for that perfect getaway, perhaps Turkey is the destination for you. Here are a few top spots.

Klassis Golf & Country Club

Opening back in 1995, Klassis Golf & Country Club is recognised as one of the first clubs in the area to open its arms to the relatively recent influx of golfing tourists. The 116-room hotel is simply stunning, whilst the course itself is one of the finest around.

You’ll find this resort just outside Silivri, which sits around fifty miles to the west of Istanbul. It has a par of 73 and stretches to just under 7 km in length. Be sure to try out the 9th hole, a 188-yard par three, which is the signature hole!

Kaya Eagles Golf Course

After getting to Dalaman, the next golf course to check out is Kaya Eagles. With stunning natural surroundings, the 18-hole course has excellent reviews from previous visitors. Kaya Eagles boasts a range of excellent facilities for practicing before a round, whilst the course itself has beautifully incorporated the area’s rich natural beauty.

The clubhouse is a great place to enjoy a quiet drink and unwind after a day out on the course, and from here you can take in some wonderful views of the greens on the 9th and 18th holes.

Sueno Golf Club

With two separate courses combining to make Sueno Golf Club, you’re sure to feel spoilt for choice. The surroundings are beautiful, and both courses have been expertly designed to ensure maximum enjoyment during your game.

Sueno is also home to several highly-rated restaurants, one of which gives diners the chance to enjoy a meal on the stunning bridge which has been constructed across the water.

Montgomerie Maxx Royal

The next course to visit is Montgomerie Maxx Royal. The facilities here are some of the biggest and most ambitious in the Belek region, and boasts courses designed by world-famous golfer Colin Montgomerie.

Getting to Dalaman

The best way to reach these wonderful resorts is to take one of the many flights available from the UK into Dalaman airport. From there, the most convenient and cost-effective way of getting to Dalaman is to take a pre-booked private shuttle transfer.

This will take you from door to door without any hassle and you can rest easy knowing that all your travel arrangements are sorted. When you land, you’ll be welcomed by a friendly and professional driver who will take you straight to your destination.

There’s no doubt that Turkey’s golf scene is an thriving one, with some of the country’s finest resorts offering world-class courses, delicious dining options and great places to stay. Wherever you choose to enjoy your sporty holiday, it’s sure to be a getaway to remember.
