(17.05.2019) – Kia Jam is one of the most revered names in Hollywood movie production having produced and/or financed over 20 movies in the last 20 years. He has worked with some of the most popular and acclaimed directors and actors during this period. Mr. Jam’s most recent releases include, In the Heart of the Sea which was produced in association with Warner Bros. was directed by Ron Howard and starred Chris Hemsworth; Sin City: A Dame to Kill For which was directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez and starred Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt; and Devil’s Pass which was directed by Renny Harlin and shot completely on location in Russia.

Kia Jam is the founder and President of K.Jam Media, an independent film and television production company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Prior to that, Mr. Jam was the principal founder and C.O.O of Ascendant Pictures, a movie production company based in Beverly Hills, California which has produced 18 movies in a five year period along with its subsidiary Rising Star. Before joining Ascendant Pictures, he was the President of an independent movie production company based in Santa Monica, California. Mr. Jam is among the distinguished members of the Producers Guild of America and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Youth Foundation for many years.

Kia Jam was invited as an official member of the jury for the 2016 Silk Road International Film Festival in Xi’an, China. He has spoken as the guest speaker in a number of prestigious universities and film academies as well.
